Old Town Pour House - Siteline

Featuring copper-inlayed bars and custom-milled dark woodwork, this eatery and pour house provides an upbeat atmosphere for lunch, happy hour and dinner. We helped create this atmosphere through millwork installation by our experienced craftsmen, making this establishment look as great as the food and drinks they serve.

The Challenge

One of the distinctive features of this restaurant is the copper-clad bar countertop. Fabricating sheets of cooper to appear to be uniform without solder joints has presented a challenge at other locations.

The Approach

Siteline recognized at the onset of this project that the finishing touch of the cooper-clad counter was an exceptionally important feature. We understood the past challenges involved with this feature and assigned a foreman to this project with the right experience with this type of work. With the knowledge of the metal's characteristics, by retaining local metal fabricators skilled in working with cooper, and by influencing the organization of the construction site, we were able to achieve the desired effect of all but eliminating the unsightly solder joints.

The Results

Old Town Pour House opened for business on time, in spite of the typical construction conflicts and tight deadlines, with a unique bar that has become a signature for this brand.
